Grooming the donkeys

Hi!!

Grooming the donkeys is inportant because otherwise there hooves get all horrable and they get sick. As well as that we have to file their hooves just like we clip our nails.

The person who does all the hoof things is called a farrier.The lady at the donkey sanctury also was cleaning there eyes with cotten wool and soapy stufff.

Hi!

When the donkeys came I thought that they were so cute! Some were fat, some were thin but all of them were unique. I was so excited! I have never been so close to a donkey. When we went into the paddock we stroked them and they were so soft but this one donkey had got all these dready things:-( I think the most intresting thing about them was the cross on some of the donkeys backs.
